As the new century unfolded attendance at the event began to trend downwards. 1n 2013, a team led by Nick Wake and Matt Partner, produced a major revamp, adding music, food stalls and online ticketing, to lift the image of the show to new levels. Attendances started rising again and today the Fireworks is well and truly established itself in the Tring social calendar. It remains a crucially important fundraiser.

After 12 consecutive years in the new format, Nick and Matt will both be stepping away after this year's show.

The event has always relied on volunteers who want to do something to help the club. We are now looking for at least two new willing souls to join the core organising team. One to take over from Nick on ticketing and marketing and the other to take on the role of liasing with the Fantastic Fireworks team, who will be taking control of the display from 2025.

If you are interested in either of these roles please step forward now and be part of the team for this year's event. Your fresh ideas will be much appreciated and you will learn everything you need to know about what is involved with these roles.
