Kit is heading off this week to the Bunbury Festival
Congratulating Kit, who heads off this week to take part in the ECB David English Bunbury Festival.
This U15s programme represents the first stage of the ECB player pathway, and to be selected to attend the Bunbury festival is a great honour. The 56 players attending the week at Loughborough are drawn from county age groups, all over England and Wales. Over the course of the week, these young cricketers will be exposed to different challenges, and a standard of competition that will deliberately stretch them.
The players are split into 4 regional teams - North, Midlands, South & West and London & East. They will compete in 5 matches over 6 days at the ECB National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough University, starting Sunday 30th July.
Former Bunbury players include Joe Root, Michael Vaughan, Alastair Cook, Freddie Flintoff .
Kit has gone through a rigorous selection process, and performed brilliantly in his trials to be selected for the 14 player squad for London & East. We wish him loads of luck in his week ahead.
