Two Taverners Matches and a Cup Final!

As we come to the final part of the season, here's what is happening through a busy week at the club.

On Saturday 12th, the 2s are at home against Maidenhead and Bray and the 4s take on Burnham. Both games start at 12.30pm; bar open 12noon - 8pm.

The club is hosting the Lord's Taverners on Sunday, who play the England Physical Disability team at 1pm. Also on Sunday, our women's team have the chance of some silverware as they take on St Albans CC in the Div3 cup final, starting at 1.30pm on the 2nd pitch. Good luck to Sarah and the team!! The bar will be open from 12noon so please come along and support the teams.

You will have seen from the recent news headlines that the COVID regulations change on Monday 14 Sept. Although they do not affect us playing cricket, it does mean we have to change our plans for the Lord's Taverners match against the TPCC XI on Wednesday 16th. Most importantly the game is still going ahead, but we can no longer host the hog roast buffet that was planned. We will be contacting those who bought tickets for the hog roast to discuss refunds. Benn Kempster will captain the TPCC XI, made up of a mix of senior players and a number of younger up and coming players. Spectators are still very welcome and the bar will be open so please come and support this event. We expect everyone coming to the club to abide by the COVID regulations, particularly with regards to social distancing and having no more than 6 people in a group.
